Matt Scranton TRD Racing team is going to be swaping his Celica for a 2005 Solara. The Celica & the Solara are using the 3.6l V6 engine.

The cars are using 2JZ engines (Supra engines) the blocks are stock blocks and all are sponsor by TRD so they are using Toyota parts.

There's definitely some confusion here. Solara08861 must be talking about Matt Scranton from the TRD racing team using all TRD parts although the subject is on The Solaras from the Bullish and Lucas Oil teams. It would make sense that Matt use as many TRD parts as possible but you know it's not "all" TRD... TRD doesn't even have guys good enough for that. They might put their name on someone else's stuf...

As far as the Lucas Oil Solara, no way that's all TRD. I know the owner/driver and seen the car many times up close. Their shop is about 10 miles from me. Definitely not all TRD. Although it may not be exactly a Supra with a Solara body, it's pretty dang close. -JoeB

Honestly Solara or not.. Its still a Supra motor... I want to see a FWD solara block made to a solara.. Not Supra... When I see it on TV, sure its a Solara body, but I just dont feel allot of proudness out of it.. Since its STILL a supra block under there.. Not the 1MZ...
