elmhurst TOYOTA, IL meet 7/10/2005 (update 06/03/2005)

Any G2 ragtops planning on going? I'm looking for a stock ragtop to go up to GreatLakes Dragway sometime next week to really test the intake.

trdboy...hooters sounds good to me. let me know wat time u wanna meet up there. cuz down2thec wants to be at the odeum at 11am.

p.s i'm still tryin to tell my girl how boring this things goin to be just so she doesnt tag along !

why dont we all meet at Hooters in schaumburg @ 11:00? then head out @11:30 to elmhurst which is like ten minutes away.

Hey Sto and SapZ, both sound good. But its the matter of where people are coming from.

Odeum is close but if we get kicked out, then the rest of the people who show up late might be confused and just wait there or might feel kinda sad for not rolling in together. Its closer, which might be convenient for the out of towners who are showing.

Hooters is also close but if we get kicked out we can always regroup somewhere near by, cause theres always parking around woodfield. Also, Hooters is close to the highway which might be good for some people who don't know the elmhurst area that well but know where woodfield mall is.

Its up to everyone else where they want to meet. Lets make a tally

Sounds good to me. i was looking for something that would be close enough to not get broken up on the ride. But with 8-10 cars it should be easy enough to stick together. I thought there might be more.

Book me for Hooters. We won't stick out as much.

(Bolingbrook, IL eh? I grew up there as a little brat. I still roll though town every once in a while to visit the stomping grounds.)

Depending on numbers I'd recommend one change to make it easier to keep together. Right (N) out of the lot, Right on Golf, then Right on the frontage to get to the highway. Left turns can be a bitch if there's ten of us. But I'm sure we'll figure it out when we're there and see what traffic we're dealing with. Thanks for picking the spot Sto!
