Biggest indash screen?

Im working on putting a 12.1 into my dash, moving from a 7" xenarc. Anyone else gone this large in the car. So far we are thinking of three different ways.

1) the screen would be on two rails and have motors that move it up and down. This way when im driving the screen will come out enough to show the radio/mp3 interface. Then it can come up more for the tv,dvd and what not.

2) The screen would be mounted 90 degrees (tall) inside the console and show the whole thing. Then it would be on a screw and rotate out to a 0 degree orientation for tv and movies.

3) Just mounted at 90 degrees flush with no moving parts. (Don't wana do this one but it's the easy way out.)

What do you think?

Sounds cool, I'm going with a 10.4" Xenarc myself.

We installed on of them in a honda. Either the guy hit it hard or it was just defective. Screen cracked less than a week later. :(
