Qustion for those with Nokya Artic White bulbs

Postby kgzero1 » Fri Jun 17, 2005 10:03 pm

I was just wondering if any of you guys running Nokya Artic White Stage II bulbs installed in the highbeams and/or lowbeams have had any problems with them. I am asking because the H11 run close to 80W.
Ex) burned harnes, wires, plastic, and such.

I would like to know about anyone running them for about a year or so. I am considering getting them for my car.

Thanks in advance, and thanks to Doc John for the info, it much appreciated.

~no problems~

Postby obegong » Sat Jun 18, 2005 11:22 pm

ive had it for about 6 months...(i dont use them too much tho...maybe 75 hours tops so far)...no problems wutsoever...they ARE dimmer than stock tho, visibility's bearable in rainy/foggy weather, but i can deal with it...if u want the bluish tint then go for it i guess

im considering an upgrade to HID once these burn out cuz im obsessed w/ em, i point em out/notice them constantly when im driving at night

I was thiking of getting some from luminicsbulbs.com, each pair is $25 shipped, but they are not dot approved, but pretty much everyone that gets them loves them.

Also for those who like silverstars, like me, I wrote them about them developing bulbs for our car, here is what they wrote me:

Good Morning Mr. Rosales,
Thank you for your inquiry. The 9145ST will be available around Aug or Sept of
this year. The H11, unfortunately, will not be offered in the ST version right
now--it is relatively new to the automotive industry, and as a result, it may
be up to a year before you see it offered by OSRAM Sylvania in any kind of an
upgrade. Please visit our website periodically for updates on product releases.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,
Heather
