Here is the link. I just want to know if it is worth it or if it is crap. :)

Definitely want to get a CF hood, but who would you reccommend if not this ebay guy?

Thanks

I don't know enough about CF hoods to tell you if it's worth it or not, but I did want to make sure you noticed that shipping is an additional $169 (including required $20 insurance), bringing the total to $348 - $358 (if you use buy it now).

Yeah I saw that. But if you look on ECC motorsports website, it list the hood at 320 on sale, plus shipping of 110. So I would actually be saving about a hundred bucks.

I am just concerned about the quality. ANyone?

I have a Gen 1 with a CF hood that I paid much more then that for. There are cheaper ones out there but, you get what you pay for. I've had mine for several years with no problems of any kind where others who paid less have had nightmares over them. Some have had to even buy a new front windshield.

Good Luck!!

Thats what I am concerned about. Quality. I guess I will hold off. I am thinking that this hood probably has some slight damage or finish problems. That is why it is soo cheap. Oh well.

I can understand the weight issue if you have a heavly mod-ed car, but otherwise it seems like its just for the look. Can't say that its for me though, looks like you got in an accident and a black hood is all you could find at the junk yard, just my opinion though...

Yeah, I am hoping that since we have manufacturer making one, that others will follow.

So VIS is one of the best huh? I have a catalog with their stuff in it. Maybe we should contact them and request that they make one. :)

when you order one, call or email them and ask for a statement that says GUARANTEE FITMENT, i've previous dealt with 3 places and none of them latched, so good luck finding one, cuz i haven't found one that latch yet.
