Will a 2006 Solara SE Sport 17" fit on a 99 Camry LE?

Will a 2006 Solara SE Sport 17" fit on a 99 Camry LE?

Hey boys, I know little about these kind of things which is why I'm asking you guys. I'm debating purchasing the SE Sport 17" inch rims that are stock on the 2006 Solara SE Sport model. The question is whether they'll fit on my 99 Camry LE.

I'm almost positive the bolt patterns are the same but I have two concerns. #1. I've read that some people have issues with the bolt length of their cars being able to handle the 17 X 7 [right now I'm on 14.5 x 5.5 steel hubs that came with the car]. #2. Whether the 99 Camry can even handle a 17 X 7 rim in its wheel-well without rubbing the struts or inside of the wells when turning.

I'd really appreciate anyone who can give me some input on this. Thxs

Hey, thanks for responding. Now get ready for the dumb questions. Why are the spacers needed? What are spacers? and Are they expensive to buy and have installed? Thanks a lot - Rog

17*7 will fit well (i had konig's which were 17*7 on my solara, later on my gen4 camry)

BTW your LE = 5sfe = rear drums!
For some god known reason the newer toyota rims don't fit in the fronts, the calipers can have clerance issues. I've speaking from trying to fit 2004 Camry XLE rims (16's) on my 01 solara. nada (now those rims are on the camry which is a v6 and they fit perfectly w.o spacers).

the offset is too high on the solara rim.

Spacer is a piece of metal to push the rim out away from the hub. Read my post in the Tutorial section about Tire/Rims explained in Engrish.

I know, but my point was that the same rim fits a gen4 camry v6 and not a gen4LE (we tried it...fitted my v6 camry and not a 98 LE) and not my solara SE (also a 5sfe). Me and this dude local tried it...even tho' the part number for teh front brakes are teh same??? I've posted this on tn as well....
