** I'm new to this whole charade and I think i might have posted in the wrong thread [read: posted in the stock Solara Gen 2]. So here it is in the Aftermarket section so if any of you guys do upgrades maybe you can give me some advice

Hey boys, I know little about these kind of things which is why I'm asking you guys. I'm debating purchasing the SE Sport 17" inch rims that are stock on the 2006 Solara SE Sport model. The question is whether they'll fit on my 99 Camry LE.

I'm almost positive the bolt patterns are the same but I have two concerns. #1. I've read that some people have issues with the bolt length of their cars being able to handle the 17 X 7 [right now I'm on 14.5 x 5.5 steel hubs that came with the car]. #2. Whether the 99 Camry can even handle a 17 X 7 rim in its wheel-well without rubbing the struts or inside of the wells when turning.

I'd really appreciate anyone who can give me some input on this. Thxs

Your right on. I didn't really know where to post with this question since it's a cross between a Solara and a Camry. ** And as I didn't read the faq before doing my postings since I just became a member like 5 min. ago and didn't read the posting rules, I just posted in sections that I thought ppl would have some knowledge about it. [read: Trust me, the wall opposite my desk has a mini-crater in it right now]
