i would like to hear some opinion about what i should do to the 04 desert sand mica, 4 syl SE.

i got mike's upper and lower grill, and should be delivered sometime today or tomorrow.
i'm a poor college student, and i thought that i won't be able to any mod after this, for a while..

BUT

my ex-roommate called me and said he got the seculity deposit from 2 years ago, and $200 is mine. so... i suddenly got this $200, and i think i have a rights to waiste it..
maybe i can add some more money from my saving, and make it to 4 or 500...

and here's question.... What should i do next??
or should i save it for bigger project? or spnd for my girl friend?
please give me some idea.. thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply.
i thought about the RSB, but is that would be in my budget with installation? also exhaust would be nice, but it will be over my budget unless, i install it by myself.. is it possible?

i was thinking, K&N air filter, Strut tower brace (seems easy to install by myself.. isn't it?), window tint, or lowering spring (buy it now, and wait installation for extra money.. )

Performance... RSB or wait for the pricing on the intake from cp-e.
Cosmetic...need more $$$ for anything major. Rims, lowering, etc. The grilles are the best pop for the cash in that arena.

RSB is < $200 go for that and leave the savings alone. You'll be happy everytime you hit a highway on-ramp!

$200? You can go for Mike T's grilles like I did. It'll compliment your car's color like it did mine

With tight budget, I would postpone for the fancy look or performance. I like to keep my car looks nice and is ridden great even it is practically bare stock. So here's what my list would be:

1. Cleaning products. The costs for good wax, polishers, good mitts, etc, etc is added up real fast. I use only professional products from Meguire Mirror Glazed line for my car.
2. Save the money for tires. The OE tires are lousy and worn out fast. Invest better tires when the time comes.
3. Save money for clear bra. Today's car paint is easily chips. Furthermore not only protecting from chipping, but also great helps during cleaning those dead bugs on the front end of the car.
4. If you have an iPod, invest to those iPod interface.

Yeah, I gotta go little by little..

anyways.
do you know how much RSB install would be? i searched and found one post it said can be done DIY, or $50. is it that easy to install, or cheap?

also, i've already got mike's grill, and waiting for the delivery :P
and i have Meguires quick wax and detailer, etc. (one of my friend recommended me.. is it good one or not.. i don't know.. but seem sit works  )

I have noticed the chip on the hood, but i don't want to use the bra.. i think it does not look that good.. i've never heard of clear bra... is it bra made with clear vinyl? or am i thinking something completely different....

I know....some big ol' fuzzy dice always does the trick  ...naw JK..I would go with either the lowering springs or Mike T's grille set.

I agree, either the grills, or the springs. The nice thing is that you already have the se. So you wont need to change the struts. If you have tools, you can change them yourself. It isnt hard. Saves some money on installation too.

>Chris
i paid about 200 including all connectors as well as installation.
the shop made a hole on top of the center console, so that i can put ipod2car in there.

i got it from them since they told me i can return it for full amount if i don't like it. but after i got it, i opened the dash and seems like it's not too hard to install by yourself.

once a while, i have trouble fast forward the song, but other than that, it works great.

let me know if you need more info.
