I'm getting into doing retros. If someone wants to buy the parts, i.e. spare headlights and a set of projectors I think I might do one or two prototypes to see if others are interested. I wouldn't charge for labor on the prototypes so just depeneds if you want to volunteer. I've done my own camry and plan on redoing it to make it nicer once I finish my grad degree after this month. If all are interested I'll redo my set and show you my work. If you like it then we can move from there. Just a thought.

If this is still going, for under $200 I'm in on it, silver/chrome.

I think I am. Let me talk to TRD MCV20L and see from there. Its easier getting a prototype that way.

Realalistically, you're looking at about 150-200 for just the HID projectors, unless you have an extra set of headlights, that's an additional cost. Plus labor is about 8-14 hours worth of work. If you want a quickie job with not too much concern for cosmeteics maybe 6-10 hours.

If you want a set for under $250, you're better off praying a big company will invest the time and money to make some.

Custom quality jobs aren't cheap. Depends on what you want.

808: What do you think you'll be charging for labor (total cost)??

Wow, I'm glad I just skipped up to page 24.
With retrofitting projectors, you're better off doing it yourself to save $$$. Because if you pay someone else to do it, it's still custom and you will have to pay for labor as it is a very time consuming procedure. If you don't have the knowhow to do it yourself, you are at the mercy of the ppl that do. Maybe this is what I can focus on with my old OEM headlamps........

OK I just skipped to the last page and didn't read anything...

1. Is there a version that has a dual-beam conversion?

2. Could someone "bump" the pics onto the first page?

3. Is there going to be an Angel Eye kit (like in the Bimmers)?

It will defineatly not be 7-1G. More like 1-200 depending on how long it takes.
