You're a car salesman for which car make? Don't expect a manual transmission for V6 until Gen3 at the earliest and doubtful that will even be available then. The manumatic isn't that bad at all.
Jai_Jai:
Wow, 500+ miles on every fillup; is that with mostly highway? I could only get that with a V6 if 100% highway driven very conservatively.

yea i agree w/ jai_jai. the manumatic is pretty good, except for the occasional hesitation issues (as most gen 2 ppl have complained about) its rather good.

if i were to drive slow, i could get 550-570..but i'm not a dude that drives THAT slow!

I usually have 490 on odo and fill up (keeping in
mind hte low fuel light hasn't lighted yet!!). I'm guessing after the light i have close to 60 miles still available...i fill premium 93 octane, i loose 100 miles if i fill 89??? (i can't explain that)
EDIT: i was talking about 5sfe (LOL) and not 2azfe! you guys should get more tham me!

What Edmunds.com Says: The Azera will likely prove that Hyundai is a force that can reckon with the Japanese.

What We Know: Hyundai will be replacing the XG350 with the Azera, a midlevel luxury sedan that should fit nicely into the company's lineup alongside the reconstituted Sonata. Slightly longer, taller and wider than the XG, the Azera also features a more powerful and fuel-efficient engine than its predecessor. In the U.S., the vehicle will be equipped exclusively with a 3.8-liter V6 capable of about 265-horsepower and a five-speed automatic transmission- this combination is a brand-new powertrain for the company. In addition to this welcome engine refreshment, the Azera also features a truly elegant interior that outdoes the best efforts of many Japanese rivals. Other standard features on this front-wheel-drive sedan include Electronic Stability Control, leather seats, a power rear sunshade, dual zone climate controls, and 17-inch wheels and tires. Having made its worldwide debut at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show as the Grandeur, the Azera will go on sale in the U.S. at the end of this year, starting under $30,000.

Hmm,Hyundai dealer buying Toyota? Noone looks at you funny parking your Solara where you work? Don't you get super deals on Hyundais?

That car's interior looks like a Lexus at a steal price. Let's see how it drives though. The bottom seat cushions though look a bit flat and American car style. No bottom cushion side bolsters?

  funny story... I desperately needed a car cuz I sold my probe and didn't have a ride, my manager gave me a screaming deal on an accent gt (which is a CUTE car and even now I would still drive it) before seeing my credit and sent me on a dealer trade to get my car from drew hyundai in la mesa which is about 45 miles away... I get back and we work out the numbers and finally run my credit, I was a 513 auto fica, whis is below average, so what he does then is gives it to the finance department who then shotguns (car sales term for having every bank in the world run my credit) my credit to about 8 different banks, and they were all declined BECAUSE I AM AN EMPLOYEE!!! The last stop is the special finance dept. , who tell me that the only bank that stands any chance of buying my loan (on a $12k loan mind you) can't do it cuz 1. I'm a salesperson and my income varies month to month 2. I'm an employee and it's "too much of a liability 3. have some "dust" on my credit, and am a first time buyer... So I was carless, the next day I went to the toyota dealership who has some serious buying power cuz the sell 400+ units a month and sond most of their deals to one bank, toyota financial services. They rolled me in my solara (mind you a car that costs $5k more than the one I wanted to buy at my work) without even prechecking me, I had to come up with a little more down than I planned, but still they made it work, so mad props to toyota of escondido! That's why I didn't buy a hyundai, and yes everyone raises their eyebrow at me when I tell them I drive a toyota...
