Ok,

I just talked to Jack and hes going to check with a couple of companies that he goes through. He's going to get back to me with pricing, turn around time along with how many orders we need to do. Along with this i told him to check how much it would cost to make a mold for a CF stock spoiler for our trunks.

Once i hear from him i will get back to you all. He did inform me that it will take him about 1 or 2 weeks before he hears something. So please be patient on this with me.

Of course. I mentioned to him that this will all be in CF. He usaully only deals with CF stuff. The stuff he usually sells is in high quality. If i am going to trust someone working on my car it would be him. I've seen his Track rx-7 and ill tell you, your jaw will drop. the car is completely custom like no other. Alot of CF material was used.

Ill get back to you on what the outcome is. I've talked to him about having some fiberglass primered also. But even if we can't get primered ones, he said its going to be around the same price. So why not just have it all made in CF and have it painted at your will. plus CF material is lighter then Fiberglass. My 2 cents..

This guy's non-professional communication is what's keeping me from giving my go on this...I'd rather wait it out for Kenny's guys.

Side Question: How much work is involved in painting a CF Piece?

Just needs to be water sanded and priemered then painted. Same process as fiberglass.. so you might was well get the CF.. see if you like it. if you dont get it painted. Easy as that..

the price is going to be about the same from what jack mentioned. so i rather not have fiberglass since its heavier and not as durable as CF material.

I'm waiting to hear back from Jack at this point. Ill try to give him a call later this week. Its been kinda hectic at work so its hard for me to get on the phone with anyone right now.

As soon as i hear something ill let everyone know.

Thanks

Kenny, count me in. I've already removed the airplane wing lol and will be going back to stock. I definately like the CF roof spoiler and I'll probably want the CF spoiler too. Thanks.

indiglosolara, should everyone who still wants this pm you and let you know again? Hopefully, it will be a low profile spoiler like the one shown on the first page of this forum. I don't want it to stick out ten feet in the air, lol Can't wait! :D :drinking:

Hi All,

I know some of voiced your concern about the vendor I was working with but here is his latest e-mail to me.

Greg,

Hi how's ur buyer list? ur rear roof wing will be ready in july ..
so let me know ASAP ,thanks

As I said before I'll put the first one on my car and post pics. If you want to buy one it will require a deposit.

Should Kenny's come through first or look better we can go that way as well.

Later
