I know the Evo 5 Front bumper is ugly but heres my Problem.

Friend of mine owns a body shop, and his Kids are big fans of U2, last night i got them Back stage passes to see them. He Called me about an hour ago and told me he order me a body kit and its the Evo 5 so now heres the big thing should i take it? 1: its free and free is always good 2: Ulgy front bumper ... lil help or advice be nice thanx all

Any U2 Fans out in the Boston area or know the Fleet center, i might be able to get a few more passes for Tomorrow show. :)

It's your car bro. Do what makes you happy :D . Seems like you're around good people that recognizes good qualities in you and in return, he's buying you a bodykit, the only bodykit for the Gen 2 besides the oem one.

Just out of curiosity, who's paying for the paint?

perhaps see how it looks if you use the evo kit's sideskirts and rear bumper and just leave the factory front valences on there...

a gen1 member did that once by combining the trd front valences the r34 kit's sideskirts and rear...it looked CLEAN

but either way, i would see what you can do to make the kit work since it is free and he'd might be offended if you turned around and sold/traded it....

If you already have the nice looking TRD kit, why put on another one that's ugly no matter if it's free? Hmmmm Sell the EVO kit on Ebay! The most I'd do is leave your front TRD pieces on as thealkimo said.

Maybe you could do some hacksaw/bondo customizing on the front before painting. Tall order to make that thing look good though. But since it's free, you have nothing to lose.

I say take it, install the side skirts and rear bumper but SELL the evo front bumper. Then with that money buy the front valances of the sport kit and slap em on!
