Louvers

I have always had a thing for those '80's rear window louvers and had some for my 'stang many moons ago. Anybody heard of them for our cars? Or maybe its just a really bad idea and it would look unbelievably ugly? :bday:

you might find this to be a stupid question, but what is a Louver? I've never heard of this before.

My aunt has a mullet. It scares me.
Please stop humping my car, owner privilege!

pic's of louvers and the other person's aunt!

I think its that little window that moves sideways to send in air to the car cabin without opening the window! Today's car's have advaced HVAC systems, we don't need them...and it would look out of place/time

O heck naw! :o I remember my dad's old 81 VW rabbit having that. No need for today's cars. Definatly taking out of erra. Cars have evolved so much since then. I like it; but not on today's car especially my Solara.

I just saw louvers on a '03 Mustang, and they look pretty cool. Very retro.
