Injen Short-Ram Intake avaiable ..?.?.?

I'm visiting my cousins in SoCal right now. We were at Chinatown yesterday and I came across an import part-shop. Out of couriosity, I asked the guy if he can find any intakes for the gen2 Solara V6. After a long while, he came out with two choices. He said," There are two available. There is a generic brand short-ram intake for $85; or Injen makes one for $240. We can order it and get it in within 2 days." I was very surprise that he can obtain the injen intake. Is it out yet? Is it possible he has some kind of hookups from injen? Or he's just shittin' me?

There's still no listing online. Read the last few posts in this thread about it.

The 2nd one listed is my fiancee, she's got the prototype. The 1st one I don't know. June and I dealed directly with Injen, so I don't know if this guy is for real. I think he stole the picture from Junest! I'd still contact Paul over at Injen. Michael's Arctic Frost is going to get the 1st production model and he's still waiting!!!! So, I'll bet Willy7o2 can't get it...

That dude in NY stole my pic. He ovbiously has a silver car and I have a white car. Study my pic and his pic carefully and you'll see. The pictures are identical. He could've done a better job cropping it that dumbass.

One word...OWN3D!!!muahhahaaahaaaaa

Good 1, Larry & June!

Here's the pics and as you all can see and June had already mentioned. Engine bay is same color as June's not his silver. :-?

ROSS's Toyota: 'WONDERER'

Image

Below is June's pic. It's the exact same pic, except he cropped it.

June's Toyota: 'Storm'

Image

If he does have it, he really should take his own pics and post. :-?

Side note:
Anyhow, to brief of the same info that I had already updated in the
Short Ram intake from Injen for Gen 2 Solaras...TBA thread

Again, I confirmed with Paul from Injen TODAY and there's no SRI for our solaras as of yet and June is the only one. Here's where the confusion comes in for the dealers that state they can order this.

Paul advised me that Injen accidently released the part number in the latest catalog and its for the camry/solara. However, when the dealers tries to order that part number, Injen then advises the dealers that it's not available.

Injen had expected to release the SRI for the solara until they ran into the CARB issue.

Help me out guys. That discoflight dude (Ross), signed my car domain guestbook saying he actually has the Injen Short Ram Intake (part# 2032). Here is the website.

Just read Micheal's quote:
