How much to get it painted if we were to get the primed? the price is good without the paint

Primed would be better. I have no CF on my car so a cf roof spoiler may look out of place.

definitely primered. is that spoiler a bit bigger than the original benz one on page one? I would go for the lower profile look like the benz if possible, especially the way that it sits flush with the roof. Great to be making progress none the less!

OK, guys I really need to know who is in.. I've spoken with the vendor again he can and will make our spoiler in CF or primed. He will send me the first prototype 30 days after he gets the deposit. I will put it on my car for fit and sizing purposes, take some photos for you and him, then we go from there. He also indicated that the final will be ready for sale in 3 to 4 weeks not 4 to 6 six.

So lets see a show of hands. We need 20 to 30 with deposits and get this thing going.

Wats the saying on price and is the deposit still 25% of that? I'll probably be in on this.

Hey I'll post the e-mail from the vendor when I get home this afternoon. It looks like we can get them for the same price of his other spoilers on e-bay.

More details later today.

It seems like the majority of the people want primed with a low profile. Seems good to me! I'm ready to put a 25% deposit down anytime.

Not to drag down on this deal. But i would like to protect solara members investments as long as yours Greg. From the grammer usage of the e-mail you recieved from this individual. He doesn't sound to Professional at all.

Just a thought I would put out there for you. I can see if I can talk to Jack at Fast Track to see if he is able to make molds for the roof spoiler with the amount of ppl that is interested at this point. The last time i visited Jack he was in the process of making a complete Real Grade A carbon fiber spoiler (I saw one that was ready for test fit and go into production, And i have to say it was nice looking). He mentioned to me that he has a company that manufactures and makes molding for any type of car.

Ill try to get a hold of him today and see what he can work out for us. But I am not too sure about Investing my money into a person/company that can't write a professional email on a product they sell.

If you got a connection please do make that call. Lets us know ASAP.
