CRAZY HAIL DAMAGE

CRAZY HAIL DAMAGE

Postby jazzlara » Fri May 20, 2005 11:19 am

Sorry no pics.....to be honest, its not a pretty sight. We had a hail storm here in Chicago that was producing about golf ball size hail (a little smaller) and it came down so hard and so fast. In the morning I looked at my car and it looked like someone took a ball-peen hammer and went to town all over my car.

The whole thing is messed up. I called insurance and hopefully they can fix it...most likely they will have to replace the hood, trunk, side panels amongst a lot of other work.

Should I keep the spoiler off or on during rebuild????/

Now my car looks like a damn Kia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That happened to my Civic a few years back.

My mechanic(also a family friend) told me to paint the car white and get a banner on the windshield that said Titleist. Smartazz :-?

Sorry about your misfortune and goodluck w/ ins.

On the upper note....you get a fresh new paint job on your car......sorry to hear about the hail damage...

....seen a few cars that had hail damage before and its amazing how much it car do to a car's body.....if I remember correctly, some where considered totalled.

take some pics......your car before it gets repaired and after it is repaired & painted.
