Chrome or black grill combo on silver Solara?

Chrome or black grill combo on silver Solara?

Postby kgzero1 » Tue May 17, 2005 10:59 am

Ok, now that I have spent more time on this forum, I have been influenced into considering getting Michael T's grill combo.
I just don't know which color would look nicer on a silver color. I was originally only going to get the black lower, but like the look of this grill combo. Suggestions?

edit::
Ooppss. I just realized there is a section for polls. Sorry. Mods, feel free to move this.

I got the lower in chrome and once installed I realized black would match the stock upper better. But the look has grown on me so I'm not to the point of replacing it.
Still I have to say that lower only = black.
If you're doing both, then either will look great depending on your taste as far as contrast or blending in. Chrome blends with the the trim strip over the upper, black will stand out to accentuate the openings.

Get the chrome lower only or chrome both. They match up with the silver color perfectly and look great. Black wouldn't come even close.

I have seen more pictures of the chrome combo and it is starting to grow on me. But, I just can't shake off the feeling that I may regret not getting the black grill combo.
