Great upgrade tires

I just upgraded my tires from the OEM Turanza to the Toyo Proxes TPT. Like driving a different car - incredible handling tire. If your looking for new tires don't overlook these.

Has anyone changed tire sizes but kept the same OE wheels?

For example: Go from 215/55/17 to 235/50/17

The circumference is close, but I'm curious if it's any wider or is it clears OK.

TOYO upgrade

Postby the penske file » Mon May 16, 2005 8:03 am

I stuck with the standard tire size 215's per advice from Tirerack and my local car expert. i know the fatter tires may look a little cooler..... but these Toyos are amazing in the OEM size.....changed the dynamics of the car.
