Repair manual for the Gen2?

Is there a repair manual out there for the Gen2 Solara? Autozone has online repair info website which is subscription based, but I prefer a book.

You can drop about $300 for the four piece Toyota service manual (including EWD). I plan to have this ride for a long time so I did.

This is good to know. You should take popular sections, scan them and post 'em up for all.

Start a post on what sections everyone needs? (Idea?)

Personally, I'd like to see details on the emission control systems. (EGR, etc..)

Oops, that would be copyright infringement. :o
Be sure to lay a toothpick on each page. Therfore you are posting up pictures of toothpicks which happen to have the Toyota manual in the background. Leave it to a snake like me to come up with a loophole.

For any members of the legal community out there: I would never suggest or associate myself with something illegal. (Yea, right) That inquiry on emission controls, ... uh ... it's just for reference. Yea, that's right, just reference. :D

I'd want to host the scans somewhere more anonymous than my comcast account. I like the toothpick idea though.. .lol. Kinda like selling the plastic toy for $500 and oh yeah... you get the concert tickets for free if you win the auction. But hey... a little tiny bit of each manual sold ends up in your pocket anyway. You should be shilling them!

Oh BTW, I'll bring them to the meet. You might find you only need Volume 2 or something. That makes it more reasonable. (NOT)

Too bad if you dropped about $300 for the manuals at dealer rip-off prices. Here they are for $99:

You would just need to track down a copy of the Electrical Wiring Diagram (EDW) manual if you wanted it too.

Nice find! I never thought they'd be on Ebay. Looking at his other auctions, he obviously has an inside line on the Toyota publishers. He's selling Lexus and Scion too. Probably gets them for next to nothing.
I guess I'll survive financially, but had I known that before I could have put the savings toward a RSB or something cool. I'm not exactly strapped tho.
Is there a better place to post his info so the next guy looking for manuals will see it? (Somewhere "sticky" maybe?)
