Good SoCal Toyota Dealerships

Good SoCal Toyota Dealerships

Postby dvdchris45 » Thu Apr 21, 2005 12:30 am

Hey folks, for those in the socal area: I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good socal Toyota dealership to address the TSBs on our cars. So far I went down to Keyes Toyota and ordered me some touch-up paint, they told me in about 3-4 day but its been a week (theyre suppose to call me when its there).

Any suggestions?

Call them. It shouldn't take a week to get it, when it's in-house. Anyways, June and I go to Toyota of North Hollywood. Joey Bernardo in service has been very nice, but I'm not really sure how the service director is on handling TSB's (since the director would have to approve the work). I'd definately try, they've always been pretty good with June and I. If you need parts, I always talk to Rafael Murillo, who's the retail parts manager. He's pretty cool, he drives a modded Celica. :D I talk to him a lot about aftermarket parts, which he gets to personally stock. I wish his department was bigger because I know he could get some cool sh*t.

Thanks for the names and tips Larry, I'll check out the NoHo dealership too. Anyone else got recommendations in the socal area?

LONGO Toyota =P

Ask for BLUE TEAM and deal with DARRIN SHADLE

He's straight business and no bullshit talk. Blue team has the least "come backs" (returns for 'not fixed right the first time')

Whatever you do, STAY AWAY from Frontier Toyota in Valencia!

I recently got a good service advisor at Toyota of Santa Monica by the name of Mark Platz.

I could explain why Frontier is the antichrist but I'd be here all night. Summary: I had a family emergency and had to go to Bakersfield, but the rear axle bearings went out on my car (at 20k miles?!) and the service guy just said, "Oh, sorry, can't help you.. Come back on Monday and we'll look at it"... Toyota of Santa Monica paid for my rental car because they had to keep the car overnight to fix it. Frontier refused to do that.

I bought my Solara from Frontier Toyota, however I've never serviced my car there. Frontier didnt bullshit me with things I dont need nor pressure us. As far as servicing goes, I'll note to dodge them!
