does anyone have pics or know where to mount the hid ballast and igniter? i have just bought a set of HID from xenondepot..am waiting for it to arrive.

a friend of mine told me i have to remove the battery and fusebox to make sure it get's placed in properly as it is tight on the driver side and don't want to scratch or greese up the bulbs :o ?!??!

It would be hard for me to show pics because I mounted the ballats underneath the housing. For the right side you can mount it on the winshield washer fluid box. On the ride side I mounted it on the side of the frame. I suggest you use industrial strength velcro as this worked perfectly for me. Just a question.... are you switching out your projector too? or just sticking them into the halogen projectors. If you doing the latter I really suggest that you purchase HID projectors.

just my 2 cents.

Hope this helps....

if you have any questions feel free to ask.

i'm thinking of just sticking it into my halogen projectors..do you guys have pics at night turned on?

did you have to take the battery and fusebox out when you installed it on the driver side?

cause I actually retrofitted my headlight with hid projectors I had to remove the bumper to remove the headlights. So I was able to mount them below.

alan, did you have to remove your battery to get the bulb into the headlight? how are you securing your ballast? it looks like it is just sitting there
