I'm a red nut. However I do like the basic black/white as well.

Of those I like Pearl White the best. The curves like kind of strange on black. But take a look at all of them in person, you'll know what 'fits' you.

You'll be able to find pics of each color with 20s somewhere in here. Search for 20s rims and follow the folks talking about them to their image station to see their car.
I'm a Lunar Mist but only because I can't wash my car at home. Good luck with the new purchase.

Gen 2 artic frost pearl on 20s

Postby michaels artic frost » Wed Apr 13, 2005 6:07 am

It's all about your personal preferences.

For example, I had purchased the red, but it was my 3rd red car and speeding tickets were catching up with me...lolz.

I returned the red and wandered around the dealership's parking lot all night trying to decide what color to go with. That's when I knew it was time for a change for me. I was just too tired of getting pulled over by cops with the previouse red cars.

Silver is a great clean and classy color, but they didn't have the silver available. Black is great when it's nice and clean, but is the dirtiest of all.

Pearl gets very dirty as well, so I chose the artic frost pearl and I'm very happy with it, except for the fact that it's 3 stage paint, which cost more :( when I have to do any paint work.

Pearl shines and sparkle so nicely IMO when it's nice and clean in the sun.

Here's a pic of mine on dubs. There are more on http://www.cardomain.com as well.

Hope this helps,

I am biased obviously since I have owned two black cars. Black gets dirty but looks awesome when clean. If you want chrome wheels, nothing is better than black.

I'll tell you what, if I had a second choice, I would of went with the artic frost. I saw one at night under the lights and it just looked beautiful.

I wish they produced some sort of steel or gun metal gray or some type of metalic blue like on the Celica or the 4 Runners or Rav 4. The color is ultimately up to whther you want to wash the car all the time (white/black), get speeding tickets (red), or easy to keep clean (gray or the light blue {I forget the name}).

If you keep your car garaged & don't mind washing it a couple tiomes a week then get a black one, otherwise you better go with white or Arctic Frost. Here's a pic of my sle drop top on 20's.

The dealership is putting my car on ebay for me for free so will see what i can get for it. It as 98 Avenger i put about $7,000 into it so im looking to just go with some class now and get a solara and some 20's. I'll link you guys when it goes on ebay! Thanks for the input

I'm equally fond of the Red, black or Arctic Frost.

However, I too would like to see a deep dark metallic blue or a metallic dark grey.

On the flip side, Silver looks sweet. It's always clean looking. However, according to PPG, it was last year's most popular color (for all cars).

1. arctic frost (i like white for some reason )
2. silver (easy color to work with in terms of modding)
3. black (too hard to maintain, plus it gets scorching hot in the summer)
