Carbon Fiber Roof Spoiler "UPDATEd 7 Mar 2007"

I know the body styles of both the camry and solara are different but any idea if this spoiler might somewhat conform to the roof of a camry?

OK folks, I'm working another possible vendor. Here is his most recent response to me:

"yes i don't think people would make this for just 30 people, the moding fee is very expensive. pls let me know if the dimension will fit, if not give me the dimention of your car, i might be able to have some spoiler custom cut for you guys, but it may not be carbon fiber though, let me know i will see what i can do. talk to you soon."

Kenny

The product could look something like this.

OK guys I just got off the phone with Kenny. We are moving forward with the roof spoiler project. There are several options we are going to pursue.

1. The vendor foots the cost of making the mold which would increase the spoiler cost to us.

2. The vendor absorbs the cost of making the mold as he believes he will sell sufficient spoilers of recoup his sunk cost.

3. We have 25 to 30 initial buyers and Kenny will order 100 to keep our cost down and he sells the rest, with some support from us. (word of mouth)

I told him I felt if we got to $300 some people would walk and that we need to get to the = or < $250.00 mark.

He did mention the vendor would require some deposit to start the mold development. That is to be expected.

Lemme know, after thinking about it, the top of my window will have black vinyl on it so the carbon fiber would match fine.

Let me know what happens to this. I may be interested depending on the timing. I have to buy a few other car parts first, but once this gets worked out it may be after i ordered all of it. If I have some cash I might get one aswell. The cf looks pretty nice.

Well I've no intention of letting this die. If anyone is still interested in getting this roof spoiler for our Solara's Please drop an e-mail to Kenny at innomotor@yahoo.com or even better, call him at 1-909-594-6676.

This is the guy that can make it happen. Like JoeB said earlier, we won't get the after market parts for our car if we don't push it. Well maybe not those words but you get the idea. 8)
