Please see the latest e-mail traffic from both possible companies.

First company

Thank you so much Greg, we are working on to bringing one in for testing already. (he's talking about a Solara for measurements)

Morning Alen

Just wanted to give you a Monday morning update. We have a total of 24 buyers with two wanting two spoilers each. I think that says we are very serious about this buy.

Second possible vendor:
Greg
Do you know which car that spoiler came from? We will be able to do it , could you give me some details regarding the payment method.

OK, I'm glad you're back. Well the number is now 24 with some folks wanting two spoilers, including myself. Below is the design we have agreed to.

For payment I suggested Pay Pal, btu adivsed them that we need to agree on price first.

More to follow.

Damn, that was our slogan from the 321st Training Sq. back in basic.

Pending price and paint options, count me in. Benz look, painted 6S3 - Rainforest Pearl (knowing full well it will cost me a bit more) if possible. If not, primer and I'll get it painted. Awesome looking, think it'll look great on the car.

OK, I must apologize for being off line for a bit. My damn cable went down. Here is the latest for the vendor and my response.

My Response:
Sorry for the slow response my cable was down for a couple days. What do you estimate the cost per spoiler will be and what amount per buyer would you require for deposit. I would think most people will want to see what the spoiler will look like on our car even if it's only a touched up Photo Shop picture.

Thx

Greg A

Vendors Message:
I would be able to probably finish the prototype in a month if we start on it.
Product would be available in 2 weeks after the prototype. So if we want to get started I would need to get the deposit from the ones who is interested. Please be patient w/ me Greg because this would be the first time we are doing a group buy and manufacturing a brand new product. Once we get the depsoit we would be able to start doing the R and D

This sounds like it'd be a nice addition to our Solara's but being one of the putz's who had a $450 deposit stolen by Xerd I'm a little gun-shy about these things. I know you have best intentions but can you vouch for the integrity of these fabricators?

I know they are a company of oustanding reputation in Southern California. Before we drop a dime I will get a go from the BBB in their location. I've no intention of being played the fool!! That makes my trigger finger itch.

Yes we will require a small deposit from each of us. No company is going to do something like this at risk!

I really appreciate your support. There's no doubt I'm going to send them a deposit. I'll let you know just as soon as I hear something.
Thanks again.
