I hope so. I ordered what toyota says is an installation kit for the ground effects body kit for the sports solara because i recently aquired a body kit from another solara guy. I was told that the part was discontinued which makes no sense to me whatsoever. the body kit and seperate parts were listed in a toyota accessories catalog and the part number is PT228-06043 GFX INSTALL KIT. It should contain retaining clips and i hope a template for the location of slots that need to be cut into the front and rear bumper covers. If you can find out whats going on with this part number i'd appreciate it.

I finally found a dealership with a parts guy who knew his stuff.
I went through my story for the hundredth time and this guy today told me to wait a second and came back with a white plastic clip. I took it across the street to the new car lot and compared it with the solara sport and voila! He only had 18 in stock so i bought them all, i'll come back in a couple days and buy the rest i need. Thanks for trying to help. As soon as i get this thing done i'll post a nice how to with pics and part numbers so noone will have to go through what i went through.
