and I believe boaclub installed HID's in his fog light and they were too bright (albeit probably not 12000K)

You will literally blind somone with those. I've never seen anything like that. Although cool looking. I never knew they made anything over 10,000K. You'll cook your headlights.

no!! install HID anywhere but ur foglight... it's NOT a wise choice...
i got it on my car and it's WAY TOO BRIGHT...
i choose to remain foglight off all the time for every driver's safety.
it's the only thing i regret to put on my car.
so, suggest u don't do it. just go change lightbult will be good enough.

driving with hid foglight is like having high beam on all the time...

Those look cool but I would never get them. Too much color!

The higher the kelvin temp on the hid kit, then you will lose brightness. There are many discussions online about hid kits and the temperature of the lights. Try acuramdx.org for some discussions.

I installed a 5300k kit on my Acura MDX and it looks great. I plan on installing the same kit on the solara.

i was ganan get 4200k for my foglight... i want it more yellow...
but, out of stock... i got 8000k instead...

Actually I already have installed the 6000k low bean in my car...just thinking to get to install Hid to my fog light as well...becoz i always want bright.... :o
