Carbon Fiber Roof Spoiler "UPDATEd 7 Mar 2007"

I had envisioned it on the window for several reasons.

1. I thought putting it on the roof would look too tall.

2. Most people put their XM antenna in that area of the roof. Look around and I know you don't want an antenna on top of your spoiler.

3. Keep it low profile and down on the window will create less drag resistance and possible wind noise.

IMO!!

Will it sit on top of the paint or stick out somewhat over the window?

I've seen his spoiler and it's a little to much IMO. This spoiler will be lower profile and CUSTOM MADE FOR OUR ROOF LINE!! Not to mention, carbon fiber

IMO his is universal or it was made for another car. it doesnt fit the curve of the solara. anyone know who makes it or where to find it?

im hoping its a double sided tape spoiler

Dounble sided tape, isnt that secure guys, sucks when your driving and the tape gives way......not too safe, but just speaking from experience

I understand your concern but but I've spoken with the BMW and Lexus people and they have a lot of 3M tape adhered roof spoilers. Fastening the spoiler depends on the design. If it's off the roof and very low profile maintaining the side roof line, it should not be a problem.

What is also very important is surface preparation, outside air and surface temperature. I know when I went to remove my body kit it took all the strength I could muster to pull it off, even with lighter fluid.
