"Agree" button and Navigation System...

"Agree" button and Navigation System...

Postby cklinh » Sun Feb 27, 2005 9:11 pm

More cool stuff from the SiennaClub.org forums... although, this is more relevant to the Prius...

the thread...

http://www.siennaclub.org/forum/index.p ... topic=4558

the crucial link...

http://www.coastaletech.com/nav_kit.htm

Basically, overrides the need to push the "Agree" button everytime you start the car, and allows data entry while in motion. I'd gladly pay the ~75 bucks to NOT have to push the "Agree" button everytime. The only drawback? Only confirmed for the Prius thus far... anyone know if they use the same Navigation System?

Nice find! The screens look exactly the same so I'd guess the Nav system in the Prius, Sienna, Camry, and Solara are the same but don't know if that cable would work on all of them. I'd pay for that too if it worked with our cars. On the Prius, they say the unit where you plug that in is under the driver's seat. That sounds different than our setup, right?

Subject: Navigation Enhancement Kit

Hi, I'm very interested in this item, but for another Toyota vehicle: the Toyota Camry Solara. I'm assuming it won't be compatible, but do you have any plans to make a version of this item for other Toyota cars? I know for sure that a Sienna forum is interested (that's where I found out about it); I also believe that a lot of Solara/Camry's will also be interested if this is compatible.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
