Navigation/Radio Volume Quirk

Hi All,
I just installed my HID today, in the process I disconnected the battery. When I plugged it back in, the Nav/Radio started acting funny. The maximum volume (63) is still way low. It's like the radio is set at 20-something, but the screen says max. Also, it's not recognizing the ipod adapter (cd changer port).

Is there something I was supposed to do to reset the radio? Or has anyone had the same problem and how did you solve it. (I figure this may be similar to reseting the automatic window roll down, but I don't know)

Just in case the problem is a fuse... anyone know where to look? under the hood? on the actual amp?

OK... so I looked in my fuse box shortly (it was too dark to see anything...) and there were some that I couldn't figure out... anyone know what the following fuse labels mean? (they're written on the fuse box cover)

"AM"
"CDS"
"HEAD"

HOPING one of these (or another) is for the amp...

I figured out what it was... something happened with my ipod adapter thing and it's screwing up... (wouldn't recognize it as a cd changer). took it out and volume came back up...

now i gotta figure out if that's the reason why my battery has been draining as well... gosh, i hope it's not the HID's that is causing the battery drain... (2nd time in three days i can't start my car).

Since the volume returned to normal after removing the iPod adapter my guess would be that it is possible that there is an issue with the adapter.

Sounds like the adapter may be causing a short which would draw addtional current which leads to draining the battery. There is always the possibility that what you are plugging the adapter into could be the root cause of the issue.
