Anyone seen this? This never happened on my '92 camry. The armrest has become scalloped
and dimpled right where I put my pointy elbow while I drive. Guess the foam they use isn't very
responsive. Just an odd thing I noticed... I think I can live with it. Kinda funny.
(and before anyone asks, yes it's that way all the time.)

maybe some heat with a heat gun, then some cold will shrink the vinyl. Just be very careful

try not to lean on it so hard or re-upholster when it gets worse.

I don't lean on it at all and get a small dimple from my elbow. I'm disappointed in seeing that as I was very happy to see cushioning there on Gen2 where there was nothing but very uncomfortable hard plastic with Gen1. You'd think they could put cushion there that didn't compress.

I'm not that conerned with it. Just a little disappointed in the Toyota designers. Seems pretty slack next to the other fine appointments and quality construction.

AAHHH!! sorry. But anyhow you can try with heat. Even better with leather than vinil, since leather shrinks with heat. ask anyone that works with upholstery.
