Well it's starting to come together! The block is back, bored .020" over. Crank is balanced and magnafluxed. Assembled with pistons and rods. Here's a pic of the engine so far, check out page 3 + 4 of my Car Domain page for more pics and details. Every time Carlos makes some progress, I give him more work. Currently scheduled to be complete by the end of the month. Need time to break it in and tune it up for the April 9+10 NOPI event at MIR! My goal is to get to 400fwhp, wish me luck! -JoeB

I can only imagine what things like that would exist over here.

Forget about upgrading pulleys, just hook the belt on the shaft of the s/c.

Thanks for the comments! I love this forum, you all are so supportive. I'd rather not comment on price. Trust me to say it is very expensive. If you are serious about it, find a shop and inquire but be prepared for a big ticket! How serious you are will determine your level of shock! I was very serious, have the money and was still shocked. :wink:

I'll definitely try to share the experience with all of you the best I can. Pics, sound clips and video at the track. If you can make it to MIR (Maryland International Raceway) for the NOPI event April 9+10, it'll be great! There will be 3 of us there with built Solaras, Rizal with Tobasco, Greg with Silverlicious (I can't wait to see that car!) and myself. It's early enough, plan for it and make the trip! I know not everyone can make the trip because of the distance so I know I speak for all of us when I say we'll try to take enough pics and get video to share the experience.
