Fuel tank

Postby trd4life » Fri Jan 28, 2005 5:45 pm

I was j/k guys. anyways if it was me i would have spent the money on aftermarket connecting rods :D

Why are you guys building the crap out of your engine yet using the stock rods?

The long block that i ordered from Stoid Racing uses the same Eagle rods as Joe B bought, they are really nice pieces.

It would be a shame if you guys have to rebuild your bottom ends because of those stock toothpick rods.

Because I don't plan to go any higher in boost and have no plans to use nitrous. The stock rods are strong enough to handle boost the s/c can best put out.

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but did you ever get your reduced weight gas tank? Any info? Where to get one? How much does it cost?

One more question. I know you had a bad experience with Stoid rebuilding your engine. Where do you get engine re-rebuilt?
