Word of warning... I managed to scrape off part of the design on the door sill (the horizontal lines)...

I'm not sure how I did it... I might have had my foot there by accident...

BTW, haven't had the chance to get pics yet... but if you've seen one, you've seen them all :)

door sill enhancement : standard on other Toyos ??

I got this as a factory (dealer?) option on my 05 SLE convertible, along with a number of other goodies, including color-matched mud guards.

Interestingly enough, my 05 Highlander Limited (V6 AWD) had both items as standard equipment.

Go figure...

Sill Plates

Got my sill plates today. They really add a bit of class to the car. As soon as you open the door, SOLARA insignia stands out. Money well spent.

I got mine at Toyota Parts People. Thank you to this web site I found out about the sill plates AND Toyota Parts People. Big savings!! Even bought some oil filters at half the price dealer sells them for.
