blind spot

Postby slugmike » Tue Nov 30, 2004 9:17 pm

hey all

for the most part, i love my 04 SE V6, but the blind spots and rearward visibility are crap!

does anybody know where i can get some blind spot mirrors? I hate the ones that just stick on the existing mirror - and the solara mirrors are so small to begin with. are there any blind spot mirrors that mount on the mirror housing? or somewhere inside?

thanks
slugmike

Do a search on blind spots in this forum. I wrote on how to move your side mirrors out enough to cover all blind spots and not require head turning anymore so no more need for blind spot stick-on mirrors. I now have no complaints on rearward visibility and my neck thanks me. :D

I have the very small stick on type, think they are 2 in. and they have the 360' rotation. They work very well, and I can still see in my side mirrors, plus no blind spots. I don't ever turn my head anymore.

I adjust my mirrors such that blind spots are just about a thing of the past but it is still wise to quickly check your sides.
Moved on to better things...

Doesn't take long at all to get used to it. Make sure you are set right by looking at all mirrors when stopped or moving and seeing no overlap between all three mirrors of the scene behind you. Then you have maximum wide angle coverage and no blind spots if you check all mirrors when driving.
