regarding the question asked earlier about different TEMPs.

3000k is yellow
4100k/4300k pure white
6000k- purple
8000k-blue
10,000- JUNK (or Deep blue as some may call it.)

all OEM HID systems use 4100k. anything you see on the road. some seem really blue because they have projectors, and it doesn't make the WHOLE BEAM BLUE...just the very top of the beam, there is a band of blue. if you guyz have projectors at home for your entertainment system, you'll notice the color around the edges too. It has to do with focal points.

the truth is, the HIGHER temp you go, the DIMMER you go. a lot of color, but no lighting performance.

so whether you buy it from mark, or from any other place, keep in mind what I just said. I have the 6000k, but I still think to myself that I should've order the 4300k. you get tired of the color real quick, but the lighting advantage? you appreciate it more and more every time you drive.

good luck XENON SHOPPING!

he's right about the lights being blue because of the projectors. The silverstars on our car look white, even a lil bit yellow. But in my friends' 3000GT, them silverstars look like HID, blue tint, white light output. I wish some company would make projectors headlighs for our car.
