i am about to get my 2005 solara v6 se sport delievered next week, and was wondering if there is any break in periods? what should be the proper way to breaking in the new car? specifically speed or rpm i should keep under?

for the first 1000 miles try not to rev above 3-4000 rpms.

do city driving and try to avoid constant cruise speeds.

if on fwy, fluctuate from 55-75.

do a few slow start outs from a dead stop and a few on the ground, just go back and forth on RPM's and speeds just try not to hold constant speeds and the same kinda starts

Avoid hard braking first few hundred miles. Check the manual for specifics.

At the 1000 mark I would also recommend changing the oil
