Just ask anybody on TN about my company and they will tell you.

Second if the roads was closed why is it that ppl still got tickets?

Like I said before educate yourself before you talk.

I'll go slow for you sporty, just so you can keep up.

1. I don't give a crap about your meaningless little company, TN or the TN kiddie corp that thinks you are cool.

2. If they recevied tickets, they were doing something illegal. I still believe you are full of crap regarding your childish ricer race and the police sponsorship. Why any police department would legally expose themselves by endorsing a bunch of hyped up wanabee road racers is beyond comprehension. If one of the participants happens to kill someone while testing their "navigation skills" the lawsuits will name the people involved in the accident, those sponsoring the moronic event and obviously the pea brain promoting it.

3. Regarding education, you have no idea who you are chatting with sporty. I'll just recommend that you speak to an attorney before organizing your moronic event and ensure that you have adequate insurance coverage in place just in case one of your navigators messes up big time.

On that note sporty, its been nice chatting with you. I'll get back to what I need to be doing and you can go back to playing grand theft auto on your playstation and daydreaming of being a real life speed racer (or ricer, whatever the case may be).

Wow TRDKamuri, you must love me cause everytime I post something anywhere you have something negative to say about me or my post........ get off my jock already.

and its nice that you can take quotes from Camryman.org without quoting the whole thread.

and no I dont watch MTV, I have alot better stuff to do..... heck i barely watch tv at all.

like i was saying on Camryman.org there is nothing illegal about it, cause this is not a race, its a group of ppl who is showing their love for toyota motor company and the vehicles their produce and driving cross country to have one big meet in cali.

Toyota X-Country Run is not a race, speed competition or contest, drag race or acceleration contest, test of physical endurance, exhibition of speed or acceleration or for the purpose of making a speed record. It is not a ‘Cannonball’ style race or timed competition, daily driving times are about 5 hours, not all day driving.

This event was created with one idea in mind: To create new friendships within car enthusiasts in one week of driving in some of the most incredible environments in the US

why not check out the links that i had provided and you will see that Ferrari has been doing this for 5 yrs now with 70 drivers every year on public roads with traffic everyday traffic.......... rally does not mean race it can also mean gathering which is exactly what Toyota X-Country is a gathering of ppl who wants to show their love for the vehicles they drive.

So i guess Ferrari condones and authorizes its company to set-up illegal events right?..... and for the ppl who did get tickets they got caught speeding, but for the most part with the exception of the ppl who was speeding nothing illegal was going on and this is the same type of event that I have proposed/planning

and Like I said on Camryman.org I already have the NY and PA State Police and the Division of traffic & Saftey as two sponsors of this event.

and once again, contact your insurance and tell them your participating in your little quest.

the first 2 were on closed roads. do you plan on contacting every single police agency along the "route" telling them this is going on and closing the roads??? i highly doubt it.

hey its up to you guys to belive what you want to. have fun. hell id love to laugh at everyone who loses their license in this. it will be a kicker. you cant tell me its not a race when in the end its who gets there the fastest.

please contact the california chp, nevada state troopers etc and see what they have to say.

remember you gotta love twin turbo rwd camry's :drinking:

I'm not fighting with him, I am just stating the facts of the event because he is proving alot of misinformation.

TRDKamuri, please educate yourself on the matter at hand cause what we are promoting has nothing to do with racing whatsoever.

What we are doing is very similar to what Ferrari did except its just a big convoy, and is not based on time or distance like Ferraris event.

also Ferraris event did indeed take place on open raods except when they had special stages which took place at tracks and closed off areas. thats why ppl did got tickets for speeding, look at the Motor trend article.

TRDKamuri pls you know nothing of the event that is being planned so unless you have fact and merit to back your arguement about the event pls just be quiet.

and Happy thanksgiving
