if you babelfish that page, you will see that they talk about the car having a bmw engine. can't make too much sense out of it though, it doesn't translate very well.

"Finally when announcing this fact, you came. " The GT machine of next period similarly, it is V8 engine loading ", " well it probably is the V10 ", ─ ─ theories it was, in engine expectation of the Toyota * スープラ succession car, in addition it is discovery of one big choices. As for that what and you say " the engine of the BMW is loaded ", it believes abruptly, the big news ─ ─ about of the がたい. It repeats one " of real evidence ", debut of 80 スープラ ('93 year May) to presently over 9 years or more, over expressing several dozen times from after and has visited the ニュルブルクリンク it is existence " of the test team of puzzle ". That team boards to the ニュル each time, making use of the current スープラ. Whether many times turns over name, also the original racing driver where but everyone knows was included. Furthermore the テスカー is different the circumference time and exhaust note, each time it visits. The engine of the various European manufacturers is mounted and it is not difficult in the imagination to have tried. Approximately those where it judges optimumly by way of the time of 10 years, are the BMW make 5 liter V8 engine. As for the current 3UZ-FE type 4.3 liter V8 engine, when it counts from the 1UZ-FE type 4 liter V8 of predecessor, 13 years or more and as for history it is old. Inhalation type layout and the sleeve (block) such as rigidity and oil line, to high power unit the occasion where the チューン it keeps doing, everything becomes the fetter. Then it is to come to the point of with Toyota to exceed the framework of prompt decision and enterprise and supplying ."

lots of sense...

I don't know about Toyota, but I know McLaren used BMW engines for the F1.

i can read the katakana
(katakana is used to make sounds from borrowed words from other languages... mostly english, from what I know)

here it is translated (the "scribbles" ) words

スープラ read as "suu - pu - ra" which means "supra"
ニュルブルクリンク reads as "nyu-ru-bu-re-ku-ri-n-ku" iono...
ニュル reads as "nyu-ru" iono...
スープラ "suu-pu-ra" supra...
テスカー reads as "te - su - kaa" which means "test car"
チューン reads as "chyuu-n" iono...

yea... i was bored and searching for random stuff :o
1GR-FE ftw!

i don't think their is never going to be the 2az-ge but in fact was the 2zz-ge for the celica. because yamaha was helping toyota build the 2zz-ge and i think we misread about how toyota is gonna build the 2az-ge.
