Amazing photoshop work...

What do you believe is the likely hood similar body kits will be made?

I will always have high hopes, but i feel a little discouraged sometimes since production of aftermarket parts for the gen 2 have been slow to say the least.

What are your thoughts?

The more people that show interest in aftermarket parts the more manufacturers will look to produce. Thats why site like this are so important. We need more members, more people to get the word out.
There are other toyota sites out there that we need to post to to spread the word that there is a place where solara owners can go to discuss just their car. I saw the same thing happen on Altimas.net when i owned my nissan. The aftermarket support started slowly and increased as we had more members added to our site. Group buys were by the dozens, and ideas became reality much quicker. All it takes is patience and determination. There is power in numbers.

I like the front the best on that red car. The sides are too complex and busy looking. Very Buck Rogers look overall. If the sides were smooth and that long, they would look better.

Where was that pic taken? SEMA show recently?

Hey Michael

I know I recommended Buddy Club to you. But you know what, F*ck Buddy Club. My friend got his P5's body kit from them. That's his car on their website. He didn't have his car for a good 5 months. So, whoever decides to be their little guinea pig, beware. Another reason they suck is because if you look at all their kits, except the wide-bodies, they're all the same and that really bothers me.

Shoe,
I like the rear on that white car but not the sides and what looks like running boards.

^^^^I second this^^^^ I think the rear looks very nice on the pearl, with the dual exhaust. For the longest time, I wanted to see how the wide body kit would look on our cars and I think the wide body kit will not do justice, but that's just my opinion. I'm referring to the wide fender flares that are on the RX-8 and other aftermarket kits.

I think we all would like to leave the front end alone, seeing how Toyota did a pretty good job. We'd like to see new side skirts and dual exhaust bumper for the rear.
With that beeing said...show me some side skirts people...please :D

Shoe...keep up the good work man...MADD PROPS!!!

I think the fender flares need to be suported by something bulky and plasticy like that convertible, the general opinion from people is this is a classy car and that sorta thing isnt for us the target market.

But I hope everyone relises what im doing with these photoshops

1 having fun :P
2 giving people ideas of what certain things would look like on the car itself rather than some other car
3 throwing ideas around
4 hopping to forward this kit project

so far no negative feedback so its all good. Im actually more than happy to pour art work into the forum.

By the way if you see a kit on a different car and want it done send me a message the pic and if you can get a similar angle of a solara that would help too.

Im getting better at chopping up and re positioning funny angles to match the target cars porportions. and dont worry about color mismatches I can handle them ( usuallly)

oh and thanks guys for your positive feedback on the art work it helps make me want to do more of them. even if you dont like the pic and u respect the work it means something really sniff

lol
