I don't think 5G's would make your car as fast as Rizal's. He did some internal modifications to the engine. The SC itself would run about $1500 if used. Headers/Ypipe would be $2000. So that would take some money. You can talk to Rizal to get more accurate numbers.
If I was in your shoes, I'd just get the SC, CAI, JPP headers/ypipe, and upgrade fuel pump, filter and lines.
5-speed V6.
TRD Supercharger.
TRD Short Throw Shifter.
Tokico/Eibach combo.

Don't know what mods you already have but $5k will get S/C, pulley, Jim's fuel upgrade, cat-back exhaust, full suspension installed. Maybe wheels & tires too if you don't go too expensive.

To get to the power levels of Rizal or EricSol you need to be pretty knowlegeable about diagnosing problems because you'll run into issues and more stuff to fix/buy.

One of the biggest problems with extra boost is fuel delivery. Our stock fuel injectors and pumps can't get enough fuel for more boost. Check out URDUSA.com, they have a complete package for S/C Camrys/Solaras at like $900. If I could do it all over again I'd go through them. This package has better spark plugs, injectors, a pump, fuel rail, and a split second ftc for tuning, which is better than an SAFC because it does timing as well. The kit is pretty comprehensive and well worth the money. After you buy the kit, then maybe get Headers w/y-pipe from JP performance for close to $1600. In the event that you can dish out another $1600, you can always get some low compression heads from a guy named Jim. People have been running 7-8 lbs of boost with these low comprension heads with no problems. He sells them from Oregon from his shop. You can easily get his info by searching on this site.

Definatley get that S/C kit from URDUSA.com though!

would a turbo be better than a supercharger for the 1mz? i know that this has been discussed before but i just want a personal opinion. would you be able to get more hp and tq from a turbo...or would it just be the same as the s/c with a smaller pulley? i need info and any would be greatly appreciated.

it would have disadvantages and advantages... a Disatvantage would would be the fact that you don't have boost right away while a s\c does.. but u can't intercool the roots type of S\c.. which we have.. it really all depends
Parting out my car!!! great upgrades for sale!

^

if your car is for tracks/races, then go for turbo

for daily driving (like me), charger will be better

what about the injectors that TRD Camry was talking about? woudl it be better to get that package if i were to go with the supercharger? or would it be better upgrade to the supra injectors like many people have done here? which would be able to deliver more fuel and such?

Get the URD kit ... but if you are going to go crazy (which I suppose you are) ask for bigger injectors 370cc+ (as Rizal will tell you).

The low compression thing may or may not be a waste of time depending on which route you wish to go. Eric got 275fwhp with 5.5psi and stock compression then he got 295 odd with 7psi and lowered compression. I am not sure but I think Rizal got similar figures (in each case).

For extremely crazy boost  :o  I guess you will have to drop the compression. This may be done better with forged pistons (which you will need as you cross 300+ hp).

Has anyone actually blown an engine up from too much boost and no forged pistons?

Oh and dont forget IK22s and Mangecor KV85s.

Once you get there some minor mods like the fuel pressure regulator and the throttle-body coolant hose tricks may help.

Yes. Someone in the past did try the 10psi pulley on stock internals and blew their pistons. I think Mole can confirm this.
