Hope this helps. This guy dropped it with Eibach's lowering springs on his Gen 2. He signed my guest book and I replied to him but he never emailed me.

Here's what he wrote.
heres a picture of my car today on april 15th. my friend and i took the back seat out and everything back there to get to where the three bolts are for the strut. i bought eibach springs and installed the fronts and back... it was late at nite so i will take some pictures of it during da day ones its nice and clean

But he went on to say...

looks very nice... but i do scrape the bottom sometimes when going into elavated driveways or shopping centers

makes the real wheel look like 10's.

17's has been looking real small on a lot of recent toyota's..look at teh rolla, the 17's look soo crappy and 15ish!

I think the 17's look especially small on the Solaras because the body lines on the car are massive and the car ain't little either.

16's are really sad

I saw the 16's on a 4 cylinder SE the other day. Now THAT was sad.

The reason the rear wheels look so small is the angle the shot was taken. The center is on the front wheel, and the rest of the shot fish eyes because of the angle.

Look at some of the other 17" lowered rides. They all look much better from the side and at a distance.

i saw a lowered Arctic Frost Solara last week out by Krispy Kreme in Canoga Park.....

it looked pretty low but i could not go back and ask him about it...

anyone know who that might be and what kind of springs?
