39,000 miles and now it's "starting to break-in"? Or you mean 3900 miles?

Where in NJ are you from? I say just wait for some parts to be made...or be creative and try to make something yourself if you have the resources (ie - intake)

I was told by Injen that the K&N puts out 2 HP gain. I have one if you want it, don't need it anymore. I've only used it for 2-3 months, some 800 miles or so. Let me know.

Not trying to mean or funny, but with all of the mods you could put on:

K&N $40.00 / (2-4 hp) / $20.00 per hp

Cat back exhaust $350-$800 /15+ hp/ approx. $23.00 per hp

Supercharger (if were avail.) 4,000 +/ 23% increase = 35-45hp/ 88.00/hp

Turbos $5,000 / 40-55 hp depending on boost/ $90.00/hp

What I am trying to show you is the fact that it would be cheaper just to trade in your car for a 6 cyl. If you strapped on a Supercharger (if it becomes available), you would spend a pretty penny. Your car may still not be as fast as a stock V-6.
