(..!..) Warning Light

(..!..) Warning Light

Postby darksun5183 » Mon Oct 04, 2004 10:09 am

Hi, I'm new here and I've searched through the board but can't seem to find any help on this topic. I'm currently at work and don't have access to my owner's manual but while driving into work, a warning light which looks like this (..!..) appeared, can anyone shed any light on what this means? If this has already been asked please forgive me, I'm just desperate for an answer.

Thanks in advance

That's the tire pressure indicator. When a tire's default pressure is not recognizable by the car’s computer, this light will come on. Just in case, check your tires for any nails or any possible deflation when you get back to your car.

Thanks!

I checked the front tire and it appears to be around 20 psi and the others are around 26-28. Does anyone know what the correct amount should be? I haven't done any modifications to this car... 2004 Toyota Solara SE... according to Toyota's website they are P215/60R16?

The manufacturer recommended PSI is on the drivers door. The front may be slightly lower than the rear...
Moved on to better things...

I believe it's 32 psi, you can check on the sticker on the inside of the driver's door.

It's very important to go with manufacturer's PSI and not not the PSI written on the tire.
