I'm glad I don't suffer from any of those TSB's.

I forgot to mention The excessive sulfur dioxide odor affects the 2002-2004 Solaras with the 2AZ- FE engine. (TSB in PDF format)

Is that really included in the 00704 for the Solara? The only Solara ECM issue that I know has a TSB out is for the odor in the 4cyl. The only bulletin for the Solara in the 00704 as far as I know is the rattle issue.

I don't know. Went to dealer for problem with terrible lag in throttle response when stepping on the gas, they said there was a TSB, and that is the TSB on the receipt. Whether it is official, or pirated from some other Toyota with a 3.3 engine, I think that all V6 owners should be aware of it, as it is a potential safety issue. Maybe one of the members that works for Toyota can confirm. I just know what was told by dealer.

This has been a very annoying issue and am curious on what is the cause and remedy for this situation.

Could you also explain this one: 00704 - REAR PACKAGE TRAY RATTLE

Does this just require the removal and replacement of the rear deck tray?

Yieks I just realised my rear deck rattles when I play loud music.....I tested this by fading to the sound to the rear only and you can clearly haer the rattle.

That stinks...if I want to get thsi fixed...what do I tell the dealer?

I also have left drift prob...I was driving in 287 with my bro's 2001 altima and his car did not drift to the left....my new 04 solara does....

This really stinks.,,,I appreciate any help..as this forums is excellent.

The moonroof I'll have done this weekend. But I was told they have to remove the roof and to cycle it open/close with the glass removed, if the noise goes away it is said that the moonroof glass needs to be replaced, and if it does not the problem is more likely in the frame or cables and not the moonroof glass.

The rear package tray rattle has something to do with adding felt to retaining tabs on the tray. It does not require a replacement.
