So I've been laggin and completly lost my knowledge of 1MZ stuffs.

I believe I have Denso IK22's since I'm boosted. Whats a new plug that replaces those nowadays? I read here that they have some lazer-edition plug? After running the IK22's, I feel I need maybe a plug thats even colder than that.

Anyone have suggestions? I dont care about price as its worth the longevity since I gotta take off the s/c to do plugs and would rather not do it often

notice the red ceramic (probly from all the intake/injector cleaner I've run through it)

I noticed the iridium tip looked similar and the coloring on the ceramic was pretty even unlike mine which have different colors.

Since the plugs are on the side I can't see any "erosion" in the ground electrodes like mine.

Also, you had two plugs that had nearly no dark oily residue on the threads whereas all mine were pretty blacked out. I'm thinking this is due to buildup from the SeaFoam cleaning unless somebody tells me otherwise.

Could the oily residue on the threads be from heated up anti-sieze?

I think thats just residual oil from the combustion chamber, nothing to worry about. Now if the Electrode was coated in oil I'd be afraid

on a different note, I went to Kragen auto parts today to get new plugs..

asked for the bkr6eix-11 and the computer said

"DO NOT USE IN THIS MOTOR" but gave a different model
3764 but the box says BKR6EIX-11

the kid said that there must have been some improvements on the plug?
Alpine + Dynaudio = Sonic bliss.
