DEALER DEMO???
Ok, so my car is a 2005 SE Sport V6 Auto 5. Very nice car, had 45 miles on it when I bought it. It came from another dealer inside Phoenix AZ so it was delivered the next day.
The salesman showed me the specs on this car and I agreed it had all the options I wanted. The 45 miles didn't really raise a big red flag, and several pieces of documentation say NEW. But...one piece of paperwork says DEMO. I worked at a Jaguar dealer a few years ago, and the demo's had hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles on them.
My car is a 2005 that I bought in March 2005, so it was fairly old on the lot.
My question is: When you sell a car, does anything on it say DEMO? Do I need to indicate that and does it appear on the title? It certainly has a negative connotation in my mind. I could probably f^% a car up moderately in 45 miles if it were someone elses.
One more note, the salesman specifically said it is not a DEMO or used car. I plan to confront the fool. I pity the foo.
