I kind of think you should lower it and do the RSB all at once... that would save you labor costs since the sway bar has to be unbolted from the struts anyway. The combination of springs, struts, and a RSB is a great improvement in both visual appeal as well as handling- I would say do it all at once.

Do you have any interest in learning how to work on your car? Both a suspension install and a RSB install are not terribly difficult if you are willing to learn. I find that that is one of the best parts of modifying a car- learning how to do it so next time you wont have to pay anyone and you will know that much more about your car.

That being said, also try the search function- all of the topics in this thread have been discussed hundreds of times and there is a wealth of info involving these topics that already exists on the forum.

welcome to SG! :)

DIY tutorial thread on TRD RSB, Gen1. (Click images to make them larger)

I drive a Gen2, so, I'm not sure if anything I say will cross over, but, I'm pretty much a mechanical retard when it comes to cars, but I found the RSB install on my Gen2 to be very easy. (Mad props to Down2TheC on his tutorial.) It was the first mod I put on my solara, had it on the stiffest setting, and the difference is quite noticeable. It's a great mod.

I got mine on street setting. I didnt even attempt to put it in the track setting just because it was hard enough to get the swaybar link in the first hole. How did you guys do it?
