so i had a 2000 toyo solara 4 cylinder but got totaled the other day. so now i am looking for a car and found this 1999 dwp solara sle v-6 very clean a old lady had it in her garage for a year..but the thing is how would i know if it is supercharged or not...like is the intake look differnt or is there something i can notice if it is a supercharger or not...

chances of an old lady having a trd supercharger on her car....non existent. but just so you know, you'll see a big black hunk of metal in the back of the engine bay with a pulley attached the the intake hose that says "trd" in red.

so it has to have a trd sticker on it...it was her husbands car...they bought brand new and got a package dont know what...i have to go look at it again and take pictures...it is a nice car and stuff....

ok maybe the trd is silver... and yeah i should work on putting pictures in with my post ha.

you'll also hear the supercharger whine when you're on the throttle. i'm pretty sure the s/c is only available dealer installed, never factory so once again i doubt it has one. if i'm wrong i'll be eatin it though haha.

haha my bad....definitely a typo. i meant the s/c is has a pulley on it and has the intake hose attached to it. not that i need to tell ya'll somethin you already know...
