PCV Valve removal

PCV Valve removal

Postby no_escape » Fri Jun 06, 2008 10:52 pm

My question is(and it might be a dumb one), am I right in reading from the Chiltons manual that I can just pull out the PCV valve once I disconnect the rubber hose? I just wanna make sure that I don't have to take off the SC and a valve cover.

I've done a search on the PCV valve, I know where it is, I know it's gonna be tight under the SC. I just want to make sure that I can pull it out without breaking something and then throwing my tools at the wall.

Thanks for any help.

yup...you can just yank it out...not too sure if it's possible to do with the supercharger still installed though, since the supercharger barely clears it as it is...but you can find out.

Its possible to do it with the sc on, its a really really tight fit but i did it with the sc still on.

U will need to use needle nose pliers.

Thanks, eye8pussies and dawgz.

This is gonna be another fun knuckle buster! Just as much fun as changing those back three spark plugs.
