The curse of the Red Solara STRIKES AGAIN (part IV)
... sigh. not way i would prefer to start my friday.
My route to work involves a very narrow windy road for about five miles. We're talkin one lane in either direction, a hillside on one side and a guard rail on the other. I was on the side with the guard rail this morning going into work, a bee flew into my car, and landed on top of my dash, right on top of my gauge cluster actually. SO, trying to avoid being stung, I quickly swiped the bee out of my driver window. While doing so, the road changed about 12 degree's to the left, only a slight turn, I was still paying enough attention, and turned the wheel, BUT i didn't see the pothole, on the right side which effectively pulled my car off the road to the right, and into the guard rail....
I corrected in time before any SERIOUS damage was done, but I'm left with a nice pin-stripe down the side of my car, from about halfway through the front fender to the rear quarter panel... the GOOD news, is that the majority of it I can buff out after work, but it did manage to scrape the paint off down to the metal in about 3 places, the largest of which is a little bigger than a quarter.
Sometimes I really feel like a black cloud follows me around in that car, I even said that in a post earlier this week.
f*ck.
